Just setup my first Custom Loop 4 Attachment(s) Here it is, its leak testing right now I'm pretty happy with how tight and tidy I was able to get the tubing. Anything anyone can see I shoudl Correct? Right now it runs in this order. Rez -> Rad -> CPU -> GPU -> Rez |
Very nice - nothing wrong with that loop. |
Looks great!!!! Welcome to the wild and (only if you don't use an algecide of some form) sometimes furry world of watercooling!!!!!!! ;) |
I only ordered 6 feet of the UV Blue tube, i had read you should have at least 8-10 feet of tube. I only used like 4.5 feet including 1 wrong cut (that i used as a filler tube). It all went without a hitch and has been leak testing for 9 hours, im off to work so it'll be close to 20 hours leak tested before I'm home and ready to setup again. Not a drip so far! |
I think the 8-10 feet estimate is for covering those running like 3 rads and would have to have a ton of tubing. It does look nice and clean great work. Can't wait until I save up enough for my own loop now. :) |
Nice loop man. Looks similar to mine. Only thing you might consider doing the next time you put it together is adding a drain port off the bottom of the vid card. |

yea for sure, i forgot to pick up a proper end to do it with :( but that is 100% going to be in my next loop. I also plan to do away with the dual bay rez/pump combo and get a tube rez and put my D5 back on its stand. |
Looks good. I agree with the drainport, you will find it very nice to have when it comes to maintenance. A good site to design water cooling loops, very useful : eXtreme Flow Designer |
Looks good. How are temps with just the single 240 rad? |
@ 4.5ghz with 1.35vcore i'm at ~30 idle and ~60 max load |
