Sure, you could buy a car after a year of savings, but that's a long time to wait with no gratification

I think the main issue is, with watercooling, you can get instant gratification for (arguably) minimal costs. Everything is about $100 give or take. Nothing else you buy for your computer is that cheap and changes the way you look at your system that much.

At least WC'ing isn't self destructive or detrimental to your health... unless it were to somehow completely consume your sanity :D. But that would likely be the product of other underlying issues. I know the feeling though. You finish building and then you think of all the different ways you can optimize your current loop, or ways of adding more radiators. Suppose I'll have to share mine one day.

But that adds up. Even spending money on used equipment (and believe me, i have ), it can get very costly.

I just added my equipment atm

(10+) 45 degree fittings
(10+) 3/8 5/8 compression fittings
(3) 360 rad
(2) 120mm Pump bracket
(5+) 90 degree fittings
(2+) Triple rotary fittings
(4) Quick disconnects
(2) GPU Block
(1) CPU Block
(6+) Fans...


Maybe i should stop just in case the baby mama is checking .

And thats not including the hardware. Hmmmm... come to think of it - i havent bought anything for myself (not even socks!) ever since i got serious about computers again ever since i joined HWC.

I have the same disease. I think the only solution is remove and sold all WC gear and go air cooling.

Going through $2000 sets of tires every season? Sure.

PC/watercooling in general is quite cheap compared to other hobbies.
Learn to be satisfied with what you have.

I always end up just taking apart what I have and putting it back together. Usually satisfies me enough to remember that I don't need that extra part. Its the only way to keep it under control for me
