distilled water will always be the most thermally conductive option for water cooling mix a little glycol in there as a biocide on the cheap. Even a shot glass or 2 will do the trick. The stuff Daz sells is basically glycol... yes it's true I looked into it and bought some to make sure.

Don't waste your money on fancy cooling liquids it's just a gimmick.

Holy thread resurrection!

But I still agree.... its distilled plus a bit (~10%) for me. I ran one of the "specialty" fluids for a while (fesser IIRC) and it lasted nearly a year before the algae completely plugged the system. Never seen even a hint of algae with glycol. Though it isn't as pretty, depends on your priorities I guess.

I used some orange stuff in my last build you can barely see the color in it compared to the green
