Default anyone tried this?

Buy Intel [BXRTS2011LC] Intel RTS2011LC CPU Liquid Cooling System 150MM Radiator 120MM 74CFM 35DBA LGA2011 LGA1155 1156 1366

also is it just intel branded or did they make this themselves?

it's generic asetek made 1x120, exactly the same as similar ones on the market. Consider it a h60 with an intel logo on it.

This. Look at H60 benchmarks if you want to know how it performs.

I like the styling, but I guess it won't work with my Athlon

From what I know, it is optimized some, and is not "stock" compared to the generic one, same idea as the one for bulldozer, its better then the one you can get off the shelf "tweaked" if you will, but overall not much better it seems, maybe better controller, software, and a fancy sticker :P For the amount of heat these things can pump, neither bulldozer nor 3960k have a whole ton of headroom even with these coolers, better then air yes, but its not going to be able to handle the sheer heat output of either for very long. I am actually surprised they did not go with a hybrid design of air cooler and liquid to wick away the heat fast enough to handle said loading. 200+watt is alot of heat to deal with, seeing as gpus, do 300w or so for thie highest end ones, for a cpu to come close when pushed to the limit, well, ouchies :P

Dont you mean the 3960x or 3930k, cuz 3960k does not exist
