Well, see, you take the fact that you are watercooling..and the fact that you are a badass.. and then you buy the biggest rad on hand(sometimes multiple) because you are a badass who is watercooling some seriously hot components! :D

One of these days my pretty. One of these days. *strokes radiator*

Is it worth going push/pull if you are going for quiet operation? Assuming 800rpm fans that is.

I would say yes, if you have the money, that would perform a little better than only one side fan. You could also add shroud to improve further the decibels level and the fan performance. Personnally, i stopped after push-pull, which allowed me to lower my fans rpm by around 25%.

This is how I look at it based on other peoples benchmarks and temps based on similar hardware. 1x 120mm rad for each core you are cooling and ONE for the pot. ;-)

So for ultra quiet computing (which i love) 360 rad for a cpu and vid card. I run a very quiet system but I also use a manual fan controller so If i'm gaming or playing around with overclocking I can manually cranker up. If I'm just posting on this forum, reading reviews, or emailing I turn them way down so it's barely audible.
