Loop Questions

WC Noob Wondering if i could get some feedback. I am currently planning my loop; currently i have :

swiftech 360 rad
swiftech 240 rad
rasa raystorm CPU block
dual bay res
EK HF universal GPU block (placing order for)(to be used on a sapphire 6950 1 gb :blarg:)
Dazmode strong D5 (also ordering)(hope its the correct pump for me)

Im planning to go 360>CPU>240>GPU>Res>Pump but tubing will crisscross back and forth, i've read that minimal tubing length is best. So, now considering 360>CPU>GPU>240>Res>Pump. But wont there be a greater cooling effect if the water going to the GPU is cooled first by the 240 rad?

Thanks a bunch mates!

If you are getting the D5 strong you should buy the 24V Koolance CTR-SPD24 pump controller. Will allow you to have a much stronger pump if it is ever needed.

As for loop order it really doesn't matter much. As long as you have the reservoir before (or at a higher height) the pump you'll be ok. It really doesn't have any real affect on temperatures.

Thanks Lowfat, Will keep that in mind, but would increasing the volt to 24v make it so much louder and would it shorten it's life span?

The D5 Strong is designed to run @ 24V so it shouldn't affect pump life much.
