Default FT02/RV02 3x180 build idea

I've been inspired by this beautiful build by lvl8hacker:

I'm toying with the idea of giving my Raven02 a heart and lifeblood.

What do you guy this about this build and how hard do you think it would be to get my hands on a 3x180 rad?

So far the only place I've found this rad is: FrozenCPU and I don't think any stock is coming... ever.

That build is extremely expensive. It's not hard to find anything if you have the cash. I say go for it if you truely want to. That harddrive tray in that picture was modded to fit the hard drives horizontally as opposed to vertically. The rad above the cpu may or may not improve temps as it add resistance to the flow.

In the revision of the build I referenced the 120 rad was removed and a tribwerk 50mm thick fan was added for exhaust.

In term doing a similar build I have all the PC components. Just need the water cooling. (radiator being the challenge)

Seems like a brilliant idea to me. I had to mod my RV01 to get a rad in the bottom. Honestly if you can find the rad somewhere, it's definitely worth it. I suggest contacting Frozen CPU to see if they know if/when more are coming. Otherwise maybe you can find one on a european site? You could also contact daz to see if he could get you one. Either way it'll be an expensive rad. Interestingly the 180mm size is significantly more surface area than 120mm rads, so you should have amazing cooling. It's probably equal to 2 triple 120mm rads or more.

Honestly if you found one I'd consider getting an RV02 and ditch my RV01 as it'd be so much cleaner and a smaller case.

I search every magicool retailer world wide and couldn't find one. Infact I search most world wide watercooling sites I could translate and couldn't find any other 540 rads. I suppose to get one you'd probably need a reasonably sized wholesale special order.

Wow that's shit. You'd think you could at least find one on some of the German WC sites. I suppose you could do it now with a 3x120mm and hope one comes out later. Maybe there is a magicool contact on some forums somewhere? I take it they've been out of stock for some time too?

I guess its time for me to chime in, I have a FT02 2x180 build:

You will find that space it VERY cramped in there, i cant take out my rad without removing my mobo for example, cooling is very good though.
Rad were carried by frozenCPU about 2 months ago, 2x180 and 3x180

Scoping out my build I'm thinking about going with:

EK Supreme HF Rev 3 CPU block

EK gtx 580/570 GPU water block x 2

EK Serial SLI water block connector

White frozenQ helix bay res

DDC3.25 pump

Along with the 3x180 rad, 1/2ID pearl white tubing and matte black fittings.
