Default Cougar Vortex HDB vs Gentle Typhoon AP-15

Looking to get 6 fans to put on a XSPC RX360 rad and I'm trying to decide between these two. I know they're hard to find but both are in stock at Aquatuning.us.

My new build includes a Fractal XL case with a black and white theme. Not sure how the orange would look . What do you guys think?

I've never heard of the Cougar fans before. So I can't imagine it is all that good in terms of CFM to noise ratio.

lol...stick with the white. The OJ will get to you over time when your brain keeps noticing the colour clash.

I could but that will add unnecessary weight to the blades which reduces its effectiveness and can also throw the balance off. I'd probably mess it up somehow anyways.

It's a German brand, not many companies over here carry them. Newegg is the only one in Canada that I know of and they're almost never in stock because people grab them very quickly. It's kind of like a Gentle Typhoon/Air Penetrator combo. Here's a video of the PWM version: Cougar CF-V12HP 120mm fan review - YouTube

You're probably right lol. Although, the pc will be in a corner and angled so the rad won't be fully in view. Only 2 of them will be in view and another partly covered by a Radbox.

I went with 6 x Gentle Typhoon AP-15's. Got them from Aquatuning.us for $14.81 each.

They look pretty good on paper. Guess they lie on the specs like most manufacturers.
