don't know what's wrong with me...

as I was doing my usual run through tech sites the other day I came across this Prometeia Mach II GT Phase-Change CPU Cooler Unit (9290GT) - w/ Free Green LCD Kit - FrozenCPU.com and I've been hearing voices in my head ever since...I don't know if I'm going to be able to stop myself and...there's nobody here to stop me

I agree - that's what I've been reading too. But if Scratch really wants one, I would buy it in Canada and save the Customs...

Kit-tronics is located Southshore of Montreal - I would call and check stock before ordering though: Kit-Tronics*::*VapoChill*::*VapoChill LS Black

NoL is selling some mass-production phase units for ~$450.00 +shipping; they will perform better than the commercial units for half the cost.

Looks like this: Magnaphase Single Stage Phase Change Extreme CPU Cooler - eBay (item 280200100184 end time Feb-14-08 12:02:04 PST)

Yeah the only manu made unit I would buy would be Vapo LS but that is not cheap. User made units are generally better.
