Default Water cooling Coolermaster HAF X

Hello
what water cooling radiator would be the best that would fit in the top of the coolermaster HAF X case
I was looking at the Magicool Slim Profile 3x140 mm radiator or the
Black Ice GTS Gen Two Stealth 420 high performance radiator

I will be cooling the i7 2600k processor or the i7 2700k processor
as well as 2 Evga GTX 580 graphics cards possibly 3 depending on if i need it.
EVGA X79 FTW mother board

please give advice on any of these componants

Thanks

The general idea is to have a 1x120 "unit" of radiator per major part. CPU + 2 GPUs require 3 "units" so anything larger than a 360.

The radiator depends if you want a high or low fin density. High fin density rads require more powerful fans with good static pressure to see the benefit of lower temperatures (over low fin density rads), but it comes with a cost of noise. Low fin density rads perform well at certain fan RPM ranges (generally around 600 - 2000rpm depending on the radiator). At higher rpm, they are less effective, but overall they will be quieter. You have to figure out what is more important to you, performance or quietness.

Looking at 140mm sized radiators is good. If you decide to use 120mm fans, you will require an adapter which will act as a shroud and remove the "dead zone" behind the fan and have more uniform cooling across the rad. You can also opt for 140mm fans too. The flexibility is there.

EVGA X79 and a 2600k -2700k dont go together

you goin p67-z68 or 2011?

if you goin 2011 you gonna need 2 rads
i'd go for the 140x3
