Corsair H100

Has anyone had experience with the corsair h100?
How does it perform compared to the cooler master v8 for example?

Thanks!

I have had the H100 for quite awhile now.

I have it on my 2600k which is OC'ed to 4.8GHz. At idle on the lowest setting using two AP-15 Gentle Typhoons, it sits at 28 on the lowest core up to 40 on the warmest. This is in ambient of 26. Now at full load on the lowest settings again it gets up to about 55-65. It is also lower if I change the setting to the highest but really just leaving it at the lowest is fine and I can barely here it at all. I can't be exact as I haven't done any real testing in awhile.

Here are some results I put into a different thread:

And here is another thread discussing using different fans on it and such:

I have also discovered that in those earlier results the ambient would have been more than what I put. I ended up getting a little thermometer and placing it near the spot that the air around my case is coldest and it was on average about 3-4 degrees warmer than I thought before. So when I said ambient at 28 it was closer to 32-34.

Ive got a 2600k @4.43 Ghz @1.38V and the average of the 4 cores is 59C. I run this chip 24/7 at 100% load folding. Ive just got the stock 2 fans it comes with, was going to add another two but I'm happy with the temps out of the box.
