My System Specs

Default Sunbeamtech Chromatic Windmill

I hope someone has this fan controller (Chromatic Windmill). Bloody thing doesn't do squat.

Give it power and all it does is blink at me and make my fans twitch.
Chances are it's defective and I am screwed because the seal sticker on it has been ripped. doubt they would take it back now.

And I bought it MONTHS ago. What a waste of $40.

If you got an idea how I can fix it I'd appreciate it.

OK... Weird moment... I remove all the fans and the screen goes normal... Looks like I need to check my connections

or the connection is reversed with the fanspeed signal on the wrong side.

NOPE... none of the above.

Turns out the Controller requires a 3 pin connection so in laymen terms...RED, YELLOW, BLACK... Red = positive, Black = Negative, and Yellow = Sensor.

Otherwise the screen goes all funny or it just won't show that there is a fan connected.
Stupid fan controller, at least it's working now. I just need to use different Fans now.

Anyone wana buy a bundle of fans now?
