H80 or H100 Reviews?

Sweet. I have seen some decent reviews on other sites for both these coolers, just not what I was looking for I guess. I was reading reviews on this site long before I joined so maybe I am spoiled. I have to admit as well that I am a little turned off by the whole Corsair Commander Link thingie. Not sure why they didn't use a software solution for that.

Definitely be interesting to see how it compares. I am knid of putting my rig together bass ackwords...I am looking for a cooler that can work with tall memory heatsinks. Thats why I have started leaning towards liquid cooling...either in a custom loop or an All in one solution.

Not really concerned about noise either...it would need to be around the 100 decibel level to bother me.

I got mine yesterday, and with some modifications got it into my case... I have 4 Noctua fans in a push pull setup on the front of my p180 case(had to remove top 5.25" and drive bay and the cage shelf thing in the middle). I had a H50 before with two Noctuas in a push pull and this drops my 1090T @4ghz by about 15C from what I can see running wprime is 37C now. Running Civ 5 I don't go above 30C late game. I am not using the built in fan header right now because of cable management and the Noctua's are quite. For a lazy cooling loop I am quite happy with the unit. My only grip is they could have kept the length of the rad down by eliminating the one end sticking out so much, I could have kept my CD drive bay had they done that.

I have one of these (H100) on order and was hoping to get it here at the beginning of this week, but no luck. This will replace my H50 and should fit nicely in my 650D.

I am looking forward to the review on it. One question that I still don' know about is whether I should use the stock fans or put on a couple gentle typhoons.

After buying a broken H60, and then receiving a replacement H60 that was broken as well, I was in contact with Corsair today about my issues, and instead of sending me a second replacement H60 which would be my third H60, they're going to replace it with an H100. Pretty good deal too seeing as I bought the H60 on sale about a month ago at NCIX for only $50.

Can't wait to get my hands on it.

Probably because H filters out NCIX due to an advert spat a few years ago, and well NCIX is pretty tight with HWC.
