Default Watercooling an E8400

Is the NCIX Water Cooling Essentials 120 CPU Water Cooling Kit enough to properly cool an E8400?

Can't see why not unless your gonna be cooling more than just the cpu.

Plentyful. Remember my Reviewer's Tryout? Reviewer Tryouts: NCIx Essentials 120 Water cooling kit

Though I would replace the plastic barbs by some metal ones for the block and the rad.

I would def get a the Swiftech Micro Res and replace the plastic barbs with metal ones. Any particular barbs you guys recommend? What fluid do you recommend. I'm thinking I'm going to go with a blue theme. I'm also going to pick up some blue smart coils.

Any metal barb will do, as long as it has the orings. I think they all do, except the Thermochill barbs for their PA rads. Fluid? Hydrx with some distilled water works just fine. But it will be green. Coils are only necessary if you have a tight bend - and you will have a very tight bend with 3/8" tubing to need coils.
