My System Specs

Default Which rad setup would be more benificial?

Hey guys.
I'm looking to re-organize and well, simplify my WC loop.
Currently i have 1 PA120.3 (older version) and a RS240, both with Gelid 1000rpm fans in pull cooling a i5 750 and GTX 570.

I'm wondering if I'd be okay with just the 120.3 in maybe a push/pull config... or would i be better served with the two rads as is?

Right now my i5 750 and GPU idle at around 30-32c and load together at a max of 55-58c depending on ambient.

Are the two rads overkill?

Its a TJ07 Build.
so they are both bottom mounted with fans in a pull config. i'll try to take some pics asap.

To the above. That was when i had it as push, there are not fans in pull instead.

I think only triple should work perfectly fine............... just not with 1000rpm fans.

I'm looking to make this as silent as possible.
I can maybe throw on three 1600RPM Scythe S-Flex's
but i'd rather have slower fans in push pull if that would make any difference?

You can use flexes with controller and slow them down. I would expect get better kick from extra RPMs then from extra slow push-pull. Something around 1300rpm is still pretty good it terms of noise.

Another option is to try something like Gentle Typhoons at 1150rpm. Gelids are better as case fans , not radiator fans.

those are some nice temps, but ya you could pull it of with just the 120.3 but to keep the temps down like you said push/pull and faster fans would be needed which would make the system louder so to me the set up you have now is ideal. if you want to make it as silent as possible then add another rad or replace the rs240 with something more beastly and go even slower fans.

Okay, I just swapped out the rs240 and im seeing a minor increase in temps. Idle is about the same and they load roughly around the same ~2-3c.

I'm going to get a few more S-Flex Fans as I currently have only one of the three in a push pull config (only 4 1600rpm fans)

Gentle Typhoon (AP-15) are great fans. They have a sweet spot around 9 v.

These would be my ideal fans, but I cant seem to find anywhere that has 5 in stock, at a reasonable price.
