New Major development in the EK case

I know we are wating for the statement of EK, bit I think this new finding have to be post, Sidewinder, a reseller discover the plating was incomplete on a new block, that's should have been found at QC control.

" Today, it came to our attention that during an examination of a
new Nickel Plated EK FC 460 GTX Waterblock, the nickel plating surface of this block was
clearly shown to be insufficient and incomplete.

As a result, Sidewinder Computers cannot in good conscience continue to resell Nickel Plated
waterblocks which may have an unfinished or incomplete plating surface. Effective immediately,
all sales of EK Nickel plated waterblocks are suspended indefinitely pending further

investigation."

This whole affair is a real shame, I used to hold EK in rather high regards in their products. But now I'm not so sure, since I haven't read any problems from koolance in a while, maybe the saying will change from "Friends don't let friends buy Koolance", to "Friends don't let friends buy EK"...

that block was purchased retail channel from sidewinders
shipped to rubidium who is a chemist and a nuclear physicist

it was analyzed by rubidium and his findings were posted.

does red facilitate the plating of certain blocks for gary,then ship them back to gary-YES
has red ever had plated for gary any ek gpu blocks-NO
has gary ever had any complaints or rma requests for a block who`s plating was facilitated through red NO
so if you mean an associate who has helped gary bring to the world,the best quality nickel and chrome plating of cpu and gpu blocks then YES is the answer

you are not in cause, it's just that Sidewinder said they open the block, now the block was open by a tierce person; Nobel price or not ..... Who is right who say the truth, I don't know we don't know, unreliable source so and add to this that some new member use the oportunity to make ad for their product...... time to close.
