Default HW Labs Black Ice SR 1 fan recommendation (and 800D upgrade)

Hey all;
Have some clicking and other issues with the Scythe fans currently on my SR 1 radiator. Year and a half old and I think they are wearing out.

I am looking for 6 fans for the rad, which will be connected to a Lamptron touch controller.

Here is what I am looking for:

1. Black in colour. I could put up with some red or white (ie. the fins), but would prefer all black.
2. Quiet
3. Available at NCIX, Canada Computers,or Dazmode.
4. Will be used in push-pull config on the 360mm rad (black ice sr 1)

Also, looking for absolutely all black fans for the Corsair 800D (three 140mm fans).

Thanks for any and all help!

Thermalright X-Silent fans can be PMed to $6-8 at NCIX. I'd only recommend the 140mm ones though, the 120mm fans lack the static pressure for good rad performance.

I use Gentle Typhoons on my SR1. Though they're black/grey but they work great and are pretty much silent (I have the 1450RPM model).

The Gentle Typhoon 1850's are as good as fans come at the moment. They have better motor noise than the rest of the GT's. However they aren't black.

I personally recommend getting some Scythe S-Flex fans in either the 1200 or 1600 RPM variant. Great rad fans!

Nothing a can of Krylon Fusion and an hour can't solve. My GT's are red :)

The newer high-speed models are full black though.

3000 RPM is the slowest model though.

Pretty easy, just watch the clip ring doesn't go flying, it is TINY and easy to lose.

Got it, hairdryer works well:
