Default Best way to clean nickel block

As the title says, what is the best way to clean a nickel plated water block?

to get the TIM off or corrosion ?

For TIM removal, I would think no different than a regular heatsink. Myself I use Lighter Fluid that really helps remove the TIM, then use 80% or higher Alcohol wipes or Alcohol with lint free towel or cloth.

If you're looking to clean 'watermarks' off, then good luck. I haven't found anything that really works.

I want to clean little deposits and "corrosion" (well nickel doesn't rust), but u know what I mean.
