Default speedfan to control pump?

try to use speed fan and i am not sure how its works... all i see is 0rpm...

i use 2 to 1 on split adapter from two pumps AND two of 3 to 1 split adapter from 3 fans into mobo headers...

can you use speedfan on pumps too?

i hope to not plan to buy fan controller :\

What pump? The only pumps that should be used w/ fan headers are Swiftech MCP35x and they need to be on a PWM header. Every other pump pulls way too much amperage to be used on motherboard headers.

I ran a 355 off a fan controller, a beefy Sunbeam Rheobus (well beefiest I had and could find for a reasonable price), and it just had enough juice to get it to maybe 3/4 speed. I do not recommend running a pump off a fan controller.

Unless it is one designed to do so, like an mCubed BigNG or the Koolance TMS-200, etc. All of which are expensive.

use mcp355... they do have fan headers... so is it impossible then?

The only ones that use fan headers for power/ground are Koolance PMP-400. This is done because they are meant to be used w/ their TMS-200 controller.

I was using a Molex to 3 pin fan header adapter to plug in my pump on my fan controller. The Sunbeam Rheobus was the beefiest fan controller that could be purchased for a reasonable price (well already had it) and was meeting the requirements for the minimum to get the pump going (can't remember numbers), but it was cutting it close.

The Koolance solution is very expensive, better off modding your pump or buying a 350 instead to reduce the noise.
