Default dazmode shipping

do they only ship things in a box? no matter how small of item you try to buy shipping is 12 bucks. I'm guessing he doesn't use mail to email small items and charge couple of bucks for stamps?

trying to order kill coil and item itself is 5 bucks.. shipping is 12

even if i wanted to buy few braided cables

I'm pretty sure it's because he needs to send it with a tracking number to cover his ass. (Theoretically) He could say he sent something in a regular envolope and actually not. There's no way for you to know if he didn't send it or if it got lost in the mail.

Email him, he might be willing to ship the killcoil in a standard envelope for $0.53. It would definitely fit.

He does tend to re-use boxes that he got from the manufactures.

yeah, you can send small items as "small parcels" but you don't have a tracking number or insurance.. and no way to know if it reached its destination. I've been offered that for shipping things like CPUs, but the difference is $7 'small package' versus $12 for regular parcel.. it's better to ship with insurance and tracking.
If daz doesn't come on and respond, send him an email - he's always been quick to reply for me.

For a CPU I agree with you Rison, but for a $ 5 item, tracking and insurance, make no sense. The web site is setup to be simple, Daz is not NCIX and New Eggg. Just Email Daz he will find a solution, How often I forget a part and redo an order 5 minutes after the first one , DAZ always issue a refund by Paypal to me.

I don’t even know why the OP post here instead of asks him directly.

Sorry, we don't ship in envelopes. We also have $2 low order fee for orders below $10.

We use mostly new single wall boxes, but we re-use boxes sometimes especially for heavy items when double or triple wall boxes are safest choice.

Why did you mention about it? Is that bad in your opinion to re-use boxes?

It's definatly not bad to re-use boxes as long as the contents are packaged well.
It is also green friendly and saves costs on supplies.

reusing = eco friendly.so it's

so do you not ship it in envelope or those bubble envelope even if buyer agrees that you are not responsible for loss of package?

Every time things get lost or mishandled I'm on receiving end of the equation and all agreements get voided by the buyer... So, I just don't want to bother with this anymore.

I'm sure you can find something else interesting at the store to make it worthwhile for everybody.
