I'm going to play devils advocate on this one.
I love a lot of what they produce, however this design I feel is over engineered.
The more gaskets you add, and places for it to travel like that would make it one leak hazzard for sure.
At least in my thoughts. The Design is awesome, don't get me wrong, but I think its more than it needs to be.

The leak factor is a concern I have as well ST, but I still want to try it out for myself. Hopefully over engineering will be a good thing for a change.

Agree. My biggest concern that too many people have no patience and will ruin threads on acetal end-plates. Then I will have endless RMA requests....

Hmmm...
It will make the manufacturing process more streamlined which could mean lower prices.
It is also more flexable should you switch cases and need/want to alter the size of your rad (you start with a 2x120 and decide to go 3x120 you haven't wasted the money spent on the 2x120).
Will have to see if the design is sound for leaks though. I'm skeptical...

That is exactly right. It is not cheaper to make smaller pcs per say, but instead of making 20 models you need only 4 (may be 6), which makes huge differnce for people like me who need to shell a lot of money to keep stock up. Connection plates shouldn't cost as much as cooling units IMHO.

Hey Daz, I just want to say thanks for finally shedding some light on just what the heck they've been doing for the last X number of months as everyone and their dog has been taking wild guesses.

Great video you've done for the community.

And wow, what the heck is going on over at xtremesystems right now? I hope that's just a troll posing as Mark from Frozen.

Seriously, that is why I just love HWC. What the heck with constant flaming, whining and screaming everywhere else?

It is actually sounds as Mark himself! I personally called him from Mario's cell at least 5 times, trying to figure out if he is going to show up at XS party as I wanted interview. Oops... And it seem he got really pissed for not picking up those rads after I filmed them.

I'm bit worry too, but my understanding that nothing was wasted. They produced several miles of finned tube, which is still uncut and all other parts are the same.
