Thermaltake TMG A1 Review Comment Thread

AkG's review of the Thermaltake TMG A1 has been posted. While it is a good cooler, there are a number of points that Thermaltake could have improved upon.

Check out the review here:

Very nicely done review. It doesn't work on anything I own, but informative nonetheless. Nice to reminded that Thermaltake DOES put out some solid stuff alongside its colour-blind bling.

One little thing I noticed - the last con in the conclusion is missing a fairly important word: "Fan does NOT move enough air to be effective at higher Thermal Loads".

Thanks. Fixing as we speak.

Looks like a lower quality Arctic Freezer 64 Pro...

Anyways, good review as usual.

It's height should also be noted. Unlike Scythe coolers, this heatsink's standoff height from the processor and motherboard make installation effortless and prevents dust buildup.

But those aluminum fins are so few and cooling performance suffers as a consequence....

first page, second paragraph, second line: should say "quite", not "quiet"

properly spelling the wrong word doesn't count!!! :bleh:

second page, first line, should say: "may be", not "maybe"
second page, bottom paragraph: "its", not "it's"
third page, first paragraph: "copper and metal"? copper IS a metal. i assume you meant "copper and aluminum"
ditto for the paragraph under the pics of the copper+"metal" base
page four, second paragraph: should say "allow it to mount to the cooler"
page four, paragraph four: "it does pay..", not "its"

good heavens, i'm less than a third done reading... i'll add more "comments" if you'd like :bleh:
