CPU Waterblock Suggestions
Can you guys recommend me a block for my i7 950?

I have the GTZ but I just upgraded from 775, I know I can get a plate that will adapt it to 1366 but I want to just get a whole new block.

I've been looking at the Enzotech Stealth, EK Supreme and the Apogee XT.

Which should I get? I don't want to spend a whole lot on a new block.

What do you guys recommend?

Personally I would just get the GTZ mounting. You are only going to gain a meaningless 1-3C from upgrading your block.

It's true. Most CPU blocks all perform within the same margins. You really only choose one for looks, or a personal preference in material used.

I guess though, if you wanted the best of the best though, the HeatKiller 3.0 and EK Supreme HF are at the top of the list. The Apogee XT is up there two - in some tests, it's the bests, in others, it's second or third. Those three blocks are all within the same cooling range, so it comes down to what you want to look at.

But like LowFat said, just get the GTZ backplate, unless you have $60 - $80 to dispose of :)

Yes stick with the GTZ with a new 1366 mounting kit unless you want that 1-3 degree difference from a new better block.
