Buying a $100 fullcover block for a card that only worth $1000 really doesn't make sense. As for universal blocks you are going to need to buy heatsinks for the VRMs at least and have some sort of active cooling over them. You can't go wrong w/ the Swiftech MCW80s.

Sounds good! I wasn't sure if a full cover provided that much more cooling vs. a universal or if it was close to the same.

As far as active cooling, is there something in particular I can use or just jury rig a 120/140mm fan to blow over them?

Questions about Fittings!

TFC vs. EK vs. Enzotech compression fittings

Is there one that is better than the other? Or all they all about the same? I excluded Bitspower as they are double the price and out of my budget.

Is there a general guideline to follow in what type of supplemental fittings I might need? i.e. 45* Rotary, 20/31mm extender, etc.

As I'm running push/pull on my rad, I assume I'll need some extender pieces. Fans are 25mm so would a 20mm extender with a 45 rotary fit? Or would that be cutting it close?

This is what I think I'll need:

8x Compression Fittings
4x 45* Rotary Fittings
2x 20mm Extension fittings

Any advice is greatly appreciated :)

All made in China, possibly on same factory, but you get different packaging bags.

You a need a pair for the following:

- CPU Block
- Reservoir
- Pump
- Rad

So that's 8 right there. I have 12 fittings just in case i add another loop (most likely). If you dont end up using it, you can always sell .

As for the ext and 45's... they're well worth it.
