Thanks again !_ I didn't realize that they had those kits- It would be really nice if they'd just throw in two more ramsinks- that would save me 15 bucks

Think about it, with that kit you wouldn't need to buy seperate ramsinks if you bought ANOTHER 8800GTS.

HARR! It might be a tough go trying to keep those babies cool with no water pumping through the gpu blocks though...;) I could hook them up to my fish tank...

On a serious note- have you heard about any issues with the fit of those gpu blocks? The one review on NCIX complains that they don't fit right.

Not sure but on further investigation, I think the 8800gts needs a total of eleven ramsinks- 10 for the ram, and one for the i/o chip?

Yeah it does. You will need MC21's for the VRMs too.

My dilemma is this- if I buy the mcw60 without the ramsinks, I don't get the 52 dollar sale price so my total is 42 (block)+ 44 (kit) = 86 plus tax and shipping = 100 bucks

If I can get a hold of three more ramsinks, my price is 52 (block)+12 (mc21's) = 64 plus tax and shipping = 74 bucks, so I'd be saving 26 bucks- I was waffling about buying the gpu cooler initially, so now that it might cost me 26 dollars more, I'm more iffy about it.

I know it's not alot of money, but combined with the lack of knowledge about how well these things work on these cards (and one nasty review on ncix), it's enough to give pause...
