To be honest I'm bit embarrassed even to ask them. I think it is on the border of being ridiculous for this kind of product. If you want perfect angles it has to be machined work, not mass produced glue job.

Having said that i will take it back.

Well it's your call, some customers are nit picky like that. And if you do end up replacing it for him, I would imagine that you would have to go through your entire stock to get a perfect one for him. As you don't want to send him another imperfect one.

From a customers point of view, I would expect a replacement to keep me happy and continue shopping at your store.

But do you want a customer like that anyways? your not a big shop to keep handling those types of issues over esthetics.

Just my two cents.

And that's why you get lots of repeat customers Daz. The customer is always right, even when he isn't.

I will not replace as they are all the same. I just take it back to close this. I value my good sleep at night. :)

But you guys right, dozen or two picky clients can kill small shop easily. Astonishing 95% of Small Business in Canada fails in first 5 years of operation and knowing when not to take business is big part of survival.

BTW Celebrating 10 years anniversary in 2011! Will make big sale in March, I promise. Hopefully Admirals will be in by then

I have not asked for replacement, but I informed XSPC about complain. The reply is exactly what I have envisioned:

"We will try our best to improve in future. But, I don't think it is easy to get 100% perfect for all hand-made goods. Pls understand."

Good choice, I would have done the same in your position.

Sometimes you just can't please everyone.

Oh, I will be waiting for those Admirals.

Congrats Daz! Hope you have something big for Christmas, I'm planning to pick up stuff from you at that time, after hearing awesome things about your store. Reading this thread certainly boosted those claims!
