Default mcr320 with 3 or 6 fans (without shroud)

i read this article at Radiator Fan Orientation and TFC Shroud Testing & Review

but what if i use 2x mcr320 with 6 fans (zm-f3)... does it make it huge different?

or should i use 2x mcr320 with 3 fans?

btw i dont care about noise...

Push pull on such a small radiator w/ a low density fins isn't really needed. If you don't care about noise then just throw on 3 high speed fans and you'll be fine. Preferably some 38mm ones.

Like these Koolance ones.

you are correct... koolance 12038HBK (38mm - MADSHRIMPS - Hardware Reviews, Crazy Projects, Modding Tutorials and Overclocking) does perform zm-f3 (25mm - MADSHRIMPS - Hardware Reviews, Crazy Projects, Modding Tutorials and Overclocking)

but 14cdn + shipping is not in my budget plus its not available in ncix...

i am looking for best value/cfm as zm-f3...

btw... i have to cancel my order... because i found this another review unlike my old thread... >_>;

edit: according to 120 x 25 mm fan group... zm-f3 is still the best... scythe is not bad too...

Scythe Ultra Kaze 120MM High Static Pressure Fan 38MM 3000RPM 133.6CFM 45.9DBA - DirectCanada

is this fan best 120x38 for under 10cdn? i just check the chart... it does perform zm-f3 except noise ratio...

it whines like nuts when you try to undervolt it, and is supremely loud when you're not

If you're looking for cheap, then I suppose the Ultra Kaze's are worth looking at, but they're definitely inferior to both Panaflo and Delta's 38mm fans. Personally, I'd just stick to the Zalman fans, especially if you're using two triple rads. Very, very little that that combo can't handle with ease.

Again, probably not worth it, looking at the system in your sig. A pair of triple rads with ZM-F3's is already technically overkill, and will likely keep your water temperatures quite close to ambient temps as it is. At best, strapping heavier fans might get you a degree, maybe two.

I was planning on sticking a pair of those ultra scythes on my tfc 240. Dont see why a C2D system would require that much for cooling.
