Default watercooling setup (which in order)

i want to know if this is acceptable for watercooling setup...

#1 uses three mcr220 radiators... overkill?

#2 uses two radiator and y-pipe... does this work?

if someone doesnt know what color box is... then please feel free to ask me... i mean i expect everyone can recongize... >_>;

My System Specs

First option, but forget the 3rd rad, not required. 2 MCR320's will cool anything you can put in the loop. The problem with the y-splitter is that if there are any obstructions or build up in your blocks, the other block will get all the flow. It can be done, but make sure you monitor GPU temps carefully if you do.

i thought to say "mrc220"... mrc320 is too big for the normal case...

so y line sounds not good idea because i dont like to watch gpu temperature at whole time... but if setup 1 with two radiator then can gpu #2 still take warm warm from gpu #1 without any problem...? i mean it would be funny if gpu #1 is 45 C and gpu #2 is 50 C (just for example)...

thanks again...

with manifold i got 1-2 degree difference on dual gpu's

just have same lenght runs from the Y branches to WB's.

also test flow before use of any parrelle circuit, the fill bucket time method

if tweaking needed can use mini C-clamp on hose to pinch to even out flow across all WB's

thank you for sharing for a very interesting information...

honestly i think 1 or 2 difference doesnt help if it requires the complex setup... (test, tweak, monitor the temperature, etc)... but if 5 degree or more then i will consider...

btw... i forget to ask... if option 1 without third radiator then is that process of watercooling setup correct?

pump > rad #1 > cpu block > rad #2 > gpu #1 > gpu #2 > res [finally > pump ]

thats the protocal with parrelle circuits test b4 use, well worth the effort but for series circuit is a no brainer (least sum of WB's controls flow)

CTA IMHO go with pump>rad1>cpu>Y>gpu's>Y>rad2>rez

fine... i will try it then... ;]

and why not about this pump>rad1>cpu>rad2>Y>gpu's>Y>rez... i thought radiator should cool down the warm temperature from cpu...

i mean why rad>res... is it because you will not need to refill the d.water into the res later?

edit: nice ms paint ;p

for paired gpu's will dump alot of heat into loop with rez won't remove heat like a rad does also protect pump life with cooler inlet temps

i see... then what about add third radiator... ;p

but if your method... then how much of warm temperature will exit out from the cpu block?

like 40C? if so then temperature of gpu will reading be like 50? or more?
