Default which tubing?

tubing from canadian, home dept, walmart or wherever.... are they good as aftermarket tubing such as primoflex lrt?

3/8 tubing sounds like very tight... but why not use 7/16 on 1/2 barb...?

i saw lowfat's thread... he doesnt use hose clamps... :0 so do 7/16 need hose clamp too?

about clear tubing... will it last as clear? no smoke, dust or fog? (i am not fan of uv tho)

No. All of that PVC tubing is garbage. Most clear tubing will haze up after a few weeks once it starts plasticizing. You would have to do a bit more research on what tubing (if any) will remain clear longer.

Hose clamps really depends on what barbs you are using. You need to make sure you use large barbs. An example would be the difference between the bitspower 3/8 barbs and the Enzotechs. There is no way you could use 3/8 Enzotech barbs w/o using a hose clamp as it would fall off immediately. However barbs like the Bitspower ones are a lot larger and have an extremely tight fit.

just have to ask...;p

i did research at VirtualRain: Water Cooling Tubing Review

and What Tubing Do You Use? Did it Cloud?

so i have to reconsider about clear tubing... maybe flat white or glossy black...

btw... there is only one swiftech vinyl 7/16 at ncix :\

just curious... is 10 feet enough?

pump, res, two gpu block, one cpu block and possible two or three radiators?

and this product NCIX.com - Buy Bitspower G1/4 High Flow 1/2IN Barb Fittings for 1/2IN ID Tubing - Dark Nickel Plated (Pair) - BP20154 In Canada. that can use without hose clamp?

thanks again...

after discussed with lowfat via pm (big thank) and decide to go with 1/2in 5/8od due to cost and barb...

anyway... i just want to know if that tube will not close (kink) when the tube from the outlet of the pump into the inlet of the radiator... see red line with black dots...

btw i hope you understand what blue and red color are for... plus i really hate design of pump... not easy to location both pump and reservoir... >;[

Without knowing the distance from the pump to the radiator we have no way of telling you if it will kink or not .

hmmm... i dont like to show you guys my secret case project...

but according to sketchup... the distance (at 0 degree) should be about 3" from end of pump to end of radiator without barb... does it help to give you an idea?

If you aren't using compression fittings it most definitely will fit.

And it still depends on the angle of that bend. But if you are worried you could always grab 2 45˚ rotary fittings.

i would like to use normal barb...

but if i have no choices then i will get one 45 degree fitting... since http://www.swiftnets.com/assets/imag...ns-800x656.gif show that 1" distance between center of holes... so no room for 3/4 (sory i mean 3/4" od... not 5/8" od) tubing :\
