is distilled water + silver kill coil enough to prevent algae and to keep my loop clean?
Cant find any stores that carry silver kill coils, any alternatives?

You can go with less expensive EK 2.2 pump + 2 barbs.

You won't gain much with XT over less expensive LT. May be 1 degree.

No place in Canada sells the iandh kill coils AFAIK. Performance-PC's does stock them in the USA though. Any 99.9% silver piece thrown in a resevoir would work though.

Okay, 1 degree is kinda within the margin of error which means they are practically the same?


the ek 2.2 pump is tempting price wise but i cant seem to find any reviews on it. is it capable of running my loop 24/7?

If i plan to upgrade to i7, will you still recommend the supreme lt?

On average the Supreme LT will be about 4C higher than the Swiftech XT.

Well, XT is not my personal favorite but it definitely will give you 1 degree better temps then LT. LT is still OK for i7, I used it for few months without any issues.

While Laing pumps are everybody's favorite, there is nothing wrong with Jingway pumps. Tons of people use those.

If you short on cash make it lean setup. We have liquidation going on with Swiftech rads, reservoirs, tubes,...grab one while they still in stock, can't get this for lower then we have. WC can get very expensive very fast. Before you know you are already off for big bucks. Speaking from experience
