My System Specs

Default Coolit Eco - Should I, or shouldn't I?

Currently running a Phenom II X3 710, with Unlocked 4TH Core, using CM Hyper 212+. At normal room temperature, CPU is running at 31C idle, and about 41C load.

Think I'd see much of a difference if I switched to the Coolit Eco water-cooler? Ugh, so tempting, rebate available at TigerDirect.

If I use the Eco in place of the Hyper 212+, I'd also add a fan to the side-panel of my Antec 900. Think it's worth the move?

Well, what are you looking to gain? you still have thermal headroom if your into oc'ing.

The Eco may be a bit quieter than your hyper 212, I would guess the diff in temps would be 5 degress at most.

My 550 Unlock to 4 core at 4.08GHz at 1.55V with a 212+ with 2 R4. I don't think a 212+ limit your overclock unless you want silence.

I don't think it is worth the move. I personally don't see it worth the price for the gain you would get.
