Hole in a Rad

I just want to know, the hole I have to fix is about the size of the head of a 11/64'' mesh. Will it work great with epoxy on a such big hole or?

yes i fixed a nickel sized hole this way in the summer time. very carefully that's was the biggest hole i have every fixed for a computer rad ( well it was being used fro a computer rad he he ) and i ended up throwing the rad out ha ha. bad flow

Well the only thing I want is to make it work without leak at least for the summer to give me some time to buy another one that will fit my ATCS ( I have to mod the rad to fit it in ).

If you use epoxy, make sure it's not the 5-minute set stuff, which isn't technically rated for constant exposure to water. Use the stuff that takes a long time to dry.

My father told me he have 6-8 hours one in the tool chest so I will probably use this one since 8 hours is long and probably enough for long water exposure.

Just double-check the packaging. The warning is usually "Not for submersion" or "Not for sustained exposure to water", or something like that, if it's an issue.

I'll promise you I will look at it and ask my father to be sure it's the right thing;)

mpg is very correct on water set epoxy make sure it's rated for that jb weld is. and it's very cheap and a good epoxy will last years +
