Good morning Daz , I agree with you dual pumps in series should give onlly about 25% to 40% increase in flow depending on the loops, but they will definatelly give you a lot more head pressure to over come friction losses in multiple water blocks (large loops)

It doubles the P/Q curve vertically (head pressure), but does nothing horizontally (flow). Add to that, the fact that flow restriction increases exponentially, and you'll never actually double your flow by doubling your pump. But the flow-biased curve of the D5 does better than many pumps when put in serial, so I don't think I'd be surprised to see gains in the %40-50 region when run in serial.

Here is same test results for multiblock i7 systems. I don't run it overclocked, so entire setup almost choked when I put it to 4ghz. Nevertheless the picture I've got was slightly different from the first test.
