Default Best fan for a rad!

Hey guys! So I post here in a different thread then my previous because my question is completly different and pointy. I want silent fan to go on a triple single pass rad. That's good and easy but where it come harder is...I would like some fan that have led and led can be turned off because for now the computer is next to my bed. I know Enermax have appolish but they are not that good on RAD I am pretty sure about that. If there is no opiton then just suggest me good fan! Thx you again and again guy!!!

Yate Loons FTW...

The Zalman F3s are pretty solid fans too, Cptn_Vortex suggested them to me, and I was pretty impressed. Although I bought those Yate Loons, the ones that usually go on sale at NCIX, so darn quiet and moves good amount of air. Those do push a good amount of air, so unless you got a fan controller, or you undervolt them or even if your case is not right near you and is closed, you should be fine.

For silent fans Yate Loon D12SL-12, these are the rating per google 47CFM/1350RPM/28dB.
If you don't mind a little more noise, you can get almost double the air pushed with Yate Loon D12SH-12 - 88CFM/2200RPM/40dB.

Some people also like Sycthe S-Flex fans, and frankly those are really good fans for water cooling too. Noctuas are the kings of silent fans, unfortunately I find them really pricey.

It seems like the Scythe Gentle Typhoons are a favourite among most people. I am going to run S-Flex and maybe switch over to the Gentle

Yes, the Gentel Typhoons are a favorite amoung many - but it isnt the best "bang for buck". Another favorite is San Ace/ Delta fans, but they are expensive. Yateloons are definitly the best "bang for buck" but I would not cheap out on fans. The fans are doing the most work cooling your loop. You can have the cheapest swiftech rad with a san ace doing 110+CFM and it would be good.

Look into the Scythe S-Flex "F"s or "G"s. Or the Gental Typhoons.

The only concern is the vary quality between so-called Yate Loon fans. If you pull up Vapor's fan reviews over on XS, you'll see some Yates perform pretty bad, where as others perform quite well.

I currently have 3 1450RPM Gentle Typhoons on my HWLabs SR1-360, and they seem to be doing a fine job. Extremely quiet (I'd go as far to say silent from a normal distance).

Yate Loon FTW.. Yate Loon FTW..

Skinnee Labs actually uses Yate Loons for most his radiator review, means he trusts them a lot. You know lots of people forget to clean dust of their rads, which does cause lack of air flow too.

But yeah. Scythe's are my no.2 pick, I'd happily live ever after with them.

Gentle Typhoons FTL.. Gentle Typhoons FTL..

Don't worry Miggs I already think about dust in the rad. I will use a aerospatial grade dust filter between the grill and the fan. These filter are know to prevent dust without taking away airflow so I should be good with that;)
