Looking for a good enough rad

Hey guys!

I've been looking around to find a good enough rad for a new system i am planning. I have hopes of running a simple loop with my CPU and my GPU.

I will be using an AMD Phenom II X4 955 BE and (hopefully) an HD 5850

I would like to run this on a 240 rad, as I have Hopes of putting this all in a Danger Den Tower 16, but i won't be suprised if it's not possible.

A 240 could do it, but a triple would have a much better delta t and could use lower rpm fans.

a thermochill PA120.2 could be good for your setup. im using one with my 550 BE and soon will be throwing 2 gpu's on the loop.
if you look at the reviews it's comparable to triple rads.

Stay away from Thermochills, +1 for Feser on my side too.

That AMD Cpu wouldn't be getting all that, although I'm unsure how much the 5850 will, you got go for a triple but that would be usually for a hot i7 processor, and looking at the thickness of the dual 240 rad, it should be enough.

People seem to dislike them on this board. I have a PA120.3 its got a nice look and solid build quality. People complain about cleaning them out. I left some 99% isopropyl alcohol in it for like 20 mins and it cleaned it right out. Couple of flushes with distilled water and its good to go. From everything I have read they are great performers. I am hoping to get mine installed this weekend.

yea same with me, boiled water and then flushed with distilled,
build quality amazed me as it's quite the solid piece.
now granted, they can be pricey but price matching is great

$90 for the PA120.3 puts them in the mid price range actually. $40 more than the MCR320 but cheaper than everything else.
