Default freezone elite to cool just a 5870
how do you think a freezone elite will coll a 5870. i want to watercool my cpu with a custom kit but dont know what to do with my freezone, so to pick up a block for it would be just as cheap to put it in my loop. what do you guys think.

My first concern would be about mounting it on main ship easily, second what to do with other parts of the card. RAM sticks?

i was thinking of buying a full cover block for the card and replacing the current cpu block thats on it.

i will add a res but part of the pump comes off to allow you to fill it i think.

I think it's alot of work for alot of overkill. I'm all for adding a FZE into the loop but just on a video card? Unless your volt modding it I don't think it'll need more than water /w a good rad.
