Tubing size Chipset Question

I'm planning on liquid cooling a evga classified board with a full chipset block, my question is the tubing i have is (1/2 ID 3/4 OD), would it be better to use (3/8 ID 1/2 OD) for the bends i need to make? I don't think the small change in diameter would affect the flow rate much but would make it easier to bend. I never used (1/2 OD) before so i don't know how much flexible it is over (3/4 OD) . Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Yes, the smaller diameter bends easier, and there is a usually a minimal change in temps.

thanx guys, i guess i'll give my bigger tubing to my brother in law for his system, and get some smaller stuff from dazmode.

Make sure you have the proper barbs too.

yeah i still have to order my barbs, I was actually waiting for a bit, which brings up another question. how does the feser compression fittings work opposed to a straight barb with a clamp or zip tie? I just used to use zip ties which were great at holding the tubing on the fittings.
