Not exactly water cooling, but still technically liquid cooling so I figured this might be the best place.
Have any of you ever tried the mineral oil immersion as demonstrated by Puget? I'm tempted to try it with my old system just for kicks. I think the main reason I don't is that I would be absolutely terrified of leaks.
Yep, BrainEater: http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/forum...ion-2-0-a.html
If you want to do it, go ahead. The only leaks you need to worry about are the mineral oil leaking out of the container. Nothing to get too worked up about. It gets all over the components but isn't electrically conductive so the system remains find. Just don't do it with any new parts, or plan to upgrade ever, since you'll more or less never be able to take stuff out.
Yer jumping the gun a bit , but thanks.
Back in 2004 , I unveiled the worlds first 'actual submersion case' (way before Puget's 'fishtank' I might add) :
Thinktank 2 isnt finished yet.
