Default Anybody have got new Apogee XT block?

Hi Guys, I wonder if anybody tried new Swiftech block personally?

It always felt for me that GTZ was on a cheapo side and just come across this post about XT:
Swiftech Apogee XT Quality Problem???

Also, just looking at the block construction, seems pretty much the same as GTZ. What the catch with improved performance, if any? Can't see how it outperformed Heatkiller in Skinee's test.

Ive got a bone to pick with swiftech, they are definatly not too nice on sending those updated mounting hardware. They also wont ship outside of the US. Its crappy to have found that out after I picked up a GT and a GTZ block and couldnt get updated mounting hardware for either block for p55 boards.

On the upside my EK block I picked up recently seems like a much better built block then either block.

It has more and smaller pins which I think is why, be careful though there have been problems with machining and alot of pins are being warped. It performs on par with a heatkiller lt

I have got one. There was a major problem the first time I installed it. The inlet portion of the block that can be re-arranged for bigger fittings wasn't fully screwed down and there was a massive leak. I havn't actually tested it yet though, hopefully I can get that done around 3:00A.M tonight lol.

Only if you can't resist its looks, otherwise it does not worth a trouble.

A few of these blocks got sent out with a mutilated inside. A member over at RETech had a picture of his intervals, and it was just butured in there. Luckily mine is fine. I still would go
for something else though.

HK 3.0 copper top is best in my opinion, although there is a cost associated
