Help Me Choose My Fittings Please.
Its going in a Corsair 800D Case with Evga sli le mobo, 12G Corsair Dominator 2000mhz with the i7 920 @ 4.5ghz Currently at 3.9 with the Corsair h50.
When do i plan to buy this ? as soon as i get a resonse with the barbs i need to buy http://forum.watercoolinguk.co.uk/im.../icon_wink.gif
Note: Ill be getting a diffrent Cpu block so ignore the fact that there are 2x 45 and x2 straight fittings for the cpu as ill need them.


Barbs Are These Correct ?

x1 - WaterCooling UK: 1/4" BSPP - 3/8" ID - 5/8" OD 90 Degree Rotary Compression
x5 - WaterCooling UK: 1/4" BSPP Male Rotary - 45 Degree Female 1/4" BSPP
x9 - WaterCooling UK: 1/4" BSPP - 3/8" ID - 5/8" OD Compression Fitting

That should be enough fittings for that setup, I have always thought to stay away from 90* angle fittings, but I'm new to watercooling aswell so maybe they don't have as much of an effect as I think.

With my 800D i used 5 rotaries and the rest were all straight compression fittings.

yes its a no no to have elbow on the pump inlet

Take another look at the radiator fittings as the Thermochill radiators use G3/8 fittings and not the G1/4 you have linked. Also, 90* fitting is a big no-no on the pump inlet, as stated before.
As well, that 5 1/4" bay reservoir is out of stock, and I really don't like trying to fill bay reservoirs.
