It's gonna be tested on a system with a rad.The cpu TDP is 125 watts.....

Yeah I gotta get new pics of it now that I removed the Company Logo's and CSA/UL Numbers from it.
ITs a Sample chiller for certain substances that need to be measured at temperatures in the negitives.
I got it from my work on the condition that I destroy all the Numbers associated with it. Hence the post-it notes.

I like what your doing. You need to fly up here so we can brainstorm together lol.

Word.. that looks pretty awsome.. will you mount it outside of the case? If I didn't pay my own power bills I would set up a few of those in sequence and use them for benching.

How do these three things ->
-Old case from a dead car amp
-226 watt peltier
-Swiftech MCW6002 waterblock+Retention bracket.....

Cool water? (thats what TEC does, doesnt it?)

The TEC cools the water that travels trough the block and the car amp case dissipates the heat coming off the "hot" side of the TEC.

TECs have a hot and cold side.

Hot side to the heatsink to dissipate the heat.
Cold side to the water loop.

Its quite an ingenious idea.

I tested this setup with no load....

Fail..

Hotside was 70C.....coldside 20 at best.

I have plans among plans tho....

I would suggest filling those big gaps in the amp heatsink with solder to close the space between the heatsink and the copper plate.

That's actually a loss of surface area.....

S'ok.

I am ordering a 437 Watt pelt for design 2.

Gonna be artsy.....should be pretty cool.
