hows my temps look
with this being my first water coling setup, i expected a bit more out of it.

i7 920 c0 @3.7 voltage at auto ~1.22 in e-leet

I am cooling the cpu, vreg and motherboard.

heatkiller 3.0 cpu block
TFC 360 rad
EK vreg and motherboard block
MCP655 pump with EK top

temps are 48, 42, 42, 44 on the cores, cpu- 32*C, vreg 46*C, system 40*C all temps are taken in e-leet.

load is all that matters ( my ambient is 27.4 cores are 45 42 43 40 cooling my cpu & gpu )
I use real temp. (My load temps max out @ 76c and below with an ambient of like 32c)

ill post some load temps in a bit, ill let p95 run a few passes before taking them.

load temps after a while.

With my GTZ, MCR320 and CPX-Pro I was getting load temps of 60 deg at 3.8 Ghz. I'd try a remount of your HK. What setting is your 655 at?

sascwatch October 8, 2009 06:34 PM

right now its set to 5.

using gelid thermal compound.

I think i might have a little air bubble stuck in it, tried tipping my system side to side but its still in there i think.

ambient means a lot? :thumb:

sascwatch October 8, 2009 07:33 PM

not sure what my ambient's are, its "warm" in my room.

I spent about 10 mins tipping and tilting my system and there was quite a bit of air, i think it was mostly in the rad thou.

Temps are a few degrees lower now, haven't seen over 68 on any core when running P95 blend.

I'll get a caliper tomorrow and re-seat my block to the specified measurements. 19.6mm iirc.

I seated it originally with only a shitty ruler to measure the bolts.

edit: almost forgot, i also added another container of Hydrx into my loop as I used just over 1 L and it calls for .5L per 2oz of Hydrx.

I think it is a little bit high for idle. I have 31-32c cores for idle on dual Feser radiator, but withy San Ace fans undervolted to 1500 rpm.

Dazmode October 8, 2009 07:59 PM

Here is some graphs for my rig with TFC360, but no GPU or chipset. Fans at 1500rpm. Overclock 3.88 vcore .46
