Plumbers thread Tape

I am really surprised that I don't see any comments on thread tape. Now do you use thread tape along with the O rings or just the O rings or is it a good idea to use both.

Of course you would use the O rings but to me it makes sense to use both O rings and plumbers thread tape.

Its called Teflon tape for those who are confused :P But an o-ring providers a better seal than teflon tape.

Teflon tape is used to prevent leakage between two different materials or to seal threads that may not be perfect.

Never used Teflon tape in any of my loops; the o-ring is sufficient to seal completly.

Ive never had the need for it, o ring works fine.

Hey guys thanks so much for the replies. This community rocks!!

This is my first water system and I really want to do everything perfect. Plus there isn't any room here for a up. And this bitch don't have any more money to dump on computer gear for a long time. Man I think if I add up everything I am into this build for over $4000
