Default PHENOM II 955 WATER COOLING

HI GUYS,

I WAS WONDERING IF SOMEONE COULD TELL ME IF MY CPU TEMPERATURE READINGS ARE AVERAGE FOR MY PHENOM II 955 AT STOCK FREQUENCY"3.2".
I HAVE THE SWIFTECH H20-220 APEX ULTIMA CPU KIT BUT I ENDED UPGRANDING TO A MCR320 TRIPLE FAN RADIATOR.
THE ROOM TEMP IS ABOUT 18 CELSIUS.

DO MY TEMPS LOOK RIGHT CONSIDERING THE TYPE OF COOLING KIT THAT I HAVE?
HERE ARE SOME PICS OF MY COMPUTER.

Picasa Web Albums - Carlos Rocha - MY PC

THANKS IN ADVANCE!

Im no watercooling expert, but I'd say thats a little warm for a triple-rad WCing setup. I can only suggest what the WC'er will suggest: Check for bubbles, reseat your CPU block, try using a push-pull fan configuration, use stronger fans?

Slightly OT: Its a nice looking build! What's the HSF on your graphics card? Its quite T3H massive one...

Hi CMetaphor,
Thanks for your reply. the cpu block's sitting fine on top of the cpu.
I will probably check for bubles and see what happens.
The cooling on my 9800gtx is the arctic cooling accelero xtreme 9800
Thanks again!

I am not sure about the rpms but i have the 3 fans connected to my fan controller and I took my temps with them turned on low.
Do you think that those temps are a little hight for my set up?

Thanks

Looks OK for 1200 rpm fans for me.

To be honest, those look on the high side. I have no experience with WC, but at stock volts and frequencies, not to mention 18C ambients, those are the temps I would expect from the stock AMD cooler.

As a reference, I'm running an unlocked 550BE (Essentially a 955BE), 3.2ghz, 2.0ghz cpu-nb, at 1.26v Vcore, and hitting 35C with Linx at 22C ambients. Cooler is a Sunbeam CCF.

If those are acceptable WC temps, then I seriously have to reconsider jumping onto the WC bandwagon. You have a dedicated triple rad for the cpu, and your CPU block, while no Heatkiller, isn't weaksauce. There has to be something wrong.

Yeah, they look fairly high to me. I've got an apogee gt with a DDCPX-Pro pump + a 220 QP-Res sitting on my 720be with a high OC and high(ish) vcore and my rig doesn't break 45c under load.

Something doesn't look right there.

edit: forgot to mention 4X 1350 RPM YLs so it's not like I'm throwing a lot of airflow through the rad either.

When the computer is on, where do you have the computer placed?
I am thinking of possible restricted airflow around the radiator.

Turn the fans on medium and high and see how much the temps drop at each setting.

Could the the rad be air locked?
The reason I asked is because a portion of the rad is higher than the res.

I hope this helps.

HalifaxPete has it correct rad isn't fully filled or WB has air pocket

dismount rez so that can hold it upright while case is placed on it side with MB backside down (NOTE only just run pump to bleed with everything else disconnected using the paperclip method to run pump on PSU)

other is the fans on rad what way air is moving ? best have them blowing @ case in current configuration (pic's)

other thing as air is removed from loop the level in rez will drop will need to top up.
so place lots of rags below to catch spillage when filling rez

is that a vario model pump (has speed setting on back of pump) if so use #1
