Default Silly questions!!!:)P

Why is it they make nice tops on water cooling blocks for vid cards?

I mean when you install the card you don't get to see the nice block top!!!
Alls you get to see is the ugly side of the video card!!!
just would think there could be a better way so one could see the nice water block is all ?:)

You can mod your case to put mobo upside down or up, so video card block shows.

lol i didn't even think of that !! heck i didn't even know you could do that :)

but i have a TJ09 case and it looks impossable to do that with out destroying the case itself: :(

You would think the MB componies could come up with a way to reverse the pci -e slot so that the vid card only would show the nice water block ???

even if a company could say make a bracket that you could slip into the pci-e slot that would flip the vid card so it looks upright and then one could admire the beuty of all vid card water blocks :0

Wait a minute i should put a patent on that idea huh ?
just make a thin plastic slot that flips the vid card!!!
man i could be rich if i knew how to design that block lol

I think i will email a company about making such a plastic reversiable pci-e block

What do you guys thinkl?
lol

And of course, horizontal mobo trays/benches benefit as well.

I've seen a few cases with mirror bottoms, which let you see the GPU waterblock in the reflection. Done right, it can look really good as well.

I'm lost here. I don't think that there's any possible way to just flip the video card around on a standard ATX motherboard. You'll have to mod your case to flip the mobo or buy a case thats already like that.
