Default Best single 120mm fan for H50

Hey all, trying to push some more performance out of my Corsair H50. Trying to be as quiet as possible, but still with enough static pressure to aid in the cooling (single fan in a push configuration). Fan can't be a 38mm.... Ideas?

All the rave over on XS for Swiftech radiators, and I think the H50 is pretty similar.

they're sold out @ ncix . Any other ideas? Im going to double-check to see if a 38mm can fit... But i dont think so since then the RAd housing of the H50 will hit the 24-pin power connector on the mobo...

Scythe S-FLEX maybe?

Check this: Fan Testing Part 2 (Retesting + Noise) - XtremeSystems Forums That is of course assuming you can interpret it since the lines are pretty close to eachother.

hmmm, according to that site the zalman ZM-F3 seems to be a decent choice... really hard to read that chart like you said though... there may be a panaflo or delta mixed in there too... can't tell...

Yeah the ZM-F3s are decent too, I used them in my brothers PC. At 12V, they are on the noisy side and get a fair bit louder depending on restriction.

Though my S-FLEX "F"s are noisy at 12V too, probably about the same (that graph confirms they roughly are). Though I run mine at a mere 1300RPM or from 1800RPM. Sure I sacrifice some cooling, but I prefer quietness.

Not sure how much better any of these would be compared to the stock fan though.

Hmmmmm... What about 2x of these?
Scythe "SLIP STREAM SLIM" 120x12mm Case Fan

2x 12mm thick fans = 24mm... 1mm skinnier than a regular fan. Maybe I'll have a push\pull on my H50 afterall You think the weird design will be bad for static pressure? Looks like many many thin fan blades with not much blade pitch...

Those fans have terrible pressure and would probably end up being noisier than a single good fan. Another vote for the Zalman fans. Just use the low noise adapter with them and they are extremely quiet. They will provide the best airflow at any noise level according to the fan roundup over on XS.

For now I have Yateloon on my H50, I have order Scythe and Noctua to see which is best over the yate because bearing are dying:(. I think the Scythe will be the winner dead silent and good airflow, also a powerfull fan wich will not be slowed by the staic pressure of air.

Ask for more.
