How to remove the air inside tube?
First time water cooling.
I am testing the pump with an external power supply with all the tubing connected but I have a hard time to remove all the air inside.
I installed a Y connection to poor the water and it is at the highest level.

What is the trick?

Got a pic showing the system, and where is the air blocked? Usually, adding the liquid at the highest point, running the pump to push the liquid and bleed the system takes care of it. You may have to add liquid a few times, and let run the system for a few hours until the micro-bubbles are gone.

By the same token, perform a 24 hour leak check.

OK, just realized my mistake. The Y tap is not at the highest level. I might have to relocate the Y tap...

...the radiator is outside the case.

That's fine. You can use the pump in short bursts (make sure the pump is always wet) in order to push the liquid. Eventually, all the air will be out and stay in the Y duct.

Where are the rad and res? By the looks of it, all air is gone from the tubing. Depending on the location of the res and rad, air may be still trapped though.

The rad is outside and there is no reservoir.
The rad is a black ice 3 x 120mm fan. I will make a support for it.
I still have lots of micro bulles, but will try with lots of short burst...

No need for short bursts with you only have micro bubbles - time will take care of them. Usually 2-3 hours.

Couple of things:

are your rad hose connections on the bottom? if so, that won't help you clear the trapped air on top. It may be a good thing to tumble your rig in all directions while the pump is running. This will help dislodge air bubbles.

usually, the system should look like such when no res is present: pump - rad - CPU - NB - pump. This way, you have the coolest liquid for your CPU.

OK...I had to guess the order.
I choose to pump into CPU, NB, Y, rad and back to pump.

I will run for few hours like this and then connect the 3 fans on the rad and fire the computer...
