Not a problem as far as I'm concerned other than the fact it might be too late to check this out. It looks like it might be a valid question based on fact rather than some of the other stuff which basically called miso's ethics into question.

Hopefully Miso can shed some light on this, or if somebody else out there has the block in question they might be able to run some tests for us.

Questions on testing techniques are good AFAIC as long as they're not just fanboi rants looking for a testing technique which benefits their own position. That said.... there's often a reason why certain tests are done certain ways and it's often not possible to cover every possible situation.

Rehashes of the same arguments which were made when the original review was done should be taken back to the original forums where they started.

If you don't like the testing methodology, do your own and post them there.

Hey Everyone,

It's very possible that that affected the results, but something to bear in mind is that when I did my flow rate testing, the Koolance block scored quite well. That leads me to believe that even though performance could have been a little bit better if the barbs had shorter threads, it would NOT have made up for being such a miserable performer.

I may do another block round up in the future, but it won't be soon. That test bench has been dismantled at this point.

Wow deleted my post? It was in no way offensive or anything. I was merely giving tips on how you could yield a more stable test result in the future. Whatever. Your loss.

I didn't delete your post, but your post completely ignored the fact that we redid all the testing with a PA120.2 after people complained about the Magicool radiator.

Check out the review for the XWB-1.

Thermalright XWB-1 CPU Water Block Review

The reason for the high temperatures is the degree to which the CPU is overvolted. Even with the better radiator, the Koolance block got killed.

If he had bothered to read the comment thread he would have known that already. I deleted the post because it was simply a re-hash of the same arguments from over 6 months ago.
