They're solid. I've gotten at least half a dozen orders from them myself. Good customer service, quick to ship, and lots of experience with Canadian shipping.

Just make sure you ship via USPS, not UPS, which will avoid customs fees the vast majority of the time. One of my orders had a small customs fee, was never quite able to get an explanation for the exact reasons, and it was still less than UPS's brokerage fees. And as shipping costs go, they're about as good as it gets from the States, so it might not be as bad as you fear.

Totally agree with MpG. Excellent customer service. USPS is the best option , i dont think i have paid more than duty(gst) on any of my orders from there.

Every single watercooling part in my rig was purchased from Sidewinder... they are the only place I deal with.

When you order, select "Priority International" shipping (it's USPS), it's the cheapest option. You'll have to pay taxes when you pick up the order, but there will be no surprise brokerage/duty.

Sidewinder is great.

Cheap shipping, great service and decent selection. They are always my first choice for ordering LC products and I only go somewhere else if they don't have what I need.

I always find their shipping the cheapest and usually they have the best pricing.

I always thought it was a Canadapost fee of $5.00 plus GST/PST, if the order was over 60 dollars of value.

It depends, They can control all the volume, so you may or may not get nugged over GST and $5 fee. I shipping receiving a lot and it is always a gamble. With order over $200 your chances are quite high to get GST...

Gary quite often doesn't provide a full listing of what's actually in the box though, my last shipment($150 before shipping) had a sticker value of $35.

But to pretty much echo what everyone else said, Sidewinders is FANTASTIC, quick to ship, good prices and he will go out of his way to help you if you have any issues or inquiries.

Oh-oh, everybody seems totally happy. Probably my assumption that we need local supply of WC was an over-estimation.
