Default Going to be cheap here... Coolit

I really don't know how good this is, but 3DGAMEMAN Rodney Renolds says it's good, but than again, everything he reviews is good.

YouTube - #1027 - CoolIT Domino Advanced Liquid Cooling CPU Cooler

Im just wondering if anyone thinks this can cool my Phenom 9950 BE better than my CoolerMaster V8 can, also, does anyone think this thing will leak? Does anyone have experiance?

I mean, for $90 it seems to be a good start for me, and water cooling.

It'll probably beat out the V8, which seems to need some pretty serious fan power before it comes alive. But so will a number of other options.

While I suppose it'd be an alright intro to watercooling, this thing has zero room for expansion or upgradeability. Don't believe I've heard any reports of leaking - the unit is completely sealed, which is one of it's selling points.

If you go with it, don't expect a jaw dropping decrease in temps. It does look cool though if you have a side window to capitalize.

Im looking to get into the whole water cooling thing on my next build, and thought this would be a nice intro. This would just be a minor 'cheap' upgrade for my current one. Ill probably also do that UV pen mode to the tubes, just to look cool lol. Im kind of tired of that V8, it doesn't really fit in the Antec-1200 (with side fan). Although, I do want to do the tjharlow window case mod.

But will I see some difference in temp? From the V8 to this? I mean, its $90 so no big deal. Also, after prying that V8 off, Ill probably lap the CPU.

Oh, one last thing. What is the best thermalpaste out there?

Does anyone know what the difference between the A.L.C version is, and the normal non-A.L.C version?

That's for the lesser performing PURE though. Don't think the ALC has ever been that cheap.
